I purchased these bags to put Christmas cookies in for gifts at Christmas. They are a great size. (They hold about 18 averaged-sized cookies.) The ribbon is threaded through the top of the bag, and all you need to do is tie a bow. They look very elegant. Just remember when choosing a size, the size is reduced because the bow takes up space and pulls the bag closed about 1 inch from the top.

These were great. The color went well with our black and good theme. I put a rice crispy treat, 2 pack Oreo cookies and small bag of chips in them.
