Works fine in a pin vice on 3mm acrylic.
I was surprised at how small these were. They did not come close to fitting in the small collet that came with my tap set. I found a pin vice that went down to 0.00" and that worked, although I wouldn't want to try that on metal. For acrylic it's fine.

Its a Tap and it did the job
I build small DIY electronics projects and also mounting 2.5 & 3.0MM screws and stand offs. This tap does the job. I used it on plexiglass, tin, and soft medals. I used nonmetric drill bits to start the holes. You get two tap for the price.

Just as I expected.
Used them to tap some brass threaded caps for an rc crawler.

Worked as advertised
I just had to tap a few deep holes in plastic, so these taps worked out just fine for me.

Just work
Nice little taps... Good and sharp! I bought the two pack because I was cutting threads in 1/4" aircraft aluminium and was worried I might break one. Twenty holes later and the last hole cut as easy as the first! I'm very satisfied with the purchase. Just go slow and work em back and forth to keep the cuttings clear and you'll have no troubles at all.

Worked well until they broke
Worked ok until they broke, I honestly don't know if it was me or the tap quality. Also I'm not sure if it was the tap or the screws I purchased but the fitment was pretty sloppy. I will be trying another brand next time. You Get what you pay for. If you only have a couple holes in soft material they should be fine. I had 24 holes and the two taps made it less then halfway.

Good Product
I had a need to tap some M2 holes in the frame of a On30 model. No doubt it is delicate, I only advanced a 1/4 turn at a time, backed out every full turn, and dabbed a q tip with mineral spirits to clean out chips. All went well.
