When I received this CCTV system I was really excited as the cameras are so sturdy. Even my friend who is somewhat of an expert in this field was impressed with its built. I have since installed it, but have started to experience three problems: (1) it keeps losing the wifi signal, even with the expander that I I'm using, so this now forces me to spend more money to get a better expander, which I'm not happy with, as I didn't have to do that with my previous video camera system. (2) The night vision doesn't function properly and consistently, chipping in and out from day mode to night to becoming extremely dark. (3) Camera # 1 which covers my driveway and the main reason for purchasing this system to prevent or identify vandal(s) has now gone blank, which has made me very disappointed as I was truly looking for years of quality service from these cameras and the return date has already passed. Separate and apart from the issues outlined, when it works and not dropping signal, the picture/video quality is very good. I do hope that Firstrend will address the issues outlined, as having looked at several more reviews, I realize that I'm not the only person having the problems outlined. Therefore if the manufacturers does some tweaking, it should be better.

If all the cameras are in the same room seems to work OK. Put one camera at the edge of the house(50ish ft away) and lost signal. one in the garage. NO signal. Back Porch, same thing. I bought better antenna for cameras and a camera wi-fi booster and finally got them to work. Seems to be a good unit with the mods needed to get the signal up.

Clear pictures with cameras, I can see from my tv and get notifications on my phone. I was having difficulties hooking my phone up to the app so I called the company. I got a response back and Owen helped me through the whole process. He was extremely patient and I thank him for that and getting me all set up. Customer service is awesome if you run into any issues.

I have only had this product for 45 days..I bought the 4 camera.. I know have 2 that doesn't work and 3rd one lost its night vision..I called for support when 1st camera quit.Agent said he would have the manufacture call me... still waiting for that call.. I called again and Superviser said he would make sure they called.. Still waiting on that call... Amazon was absolutely no help..UPDATE:Firstrend saw this review and stepped up and took very good care of me.. answered all questions and replaced the parts that went bad.. Firstrend has Awesome camera's and customer service... I would just buy them from another outlet than Amazon..

Love this product. The picture quality from the cameras is excellent. Set up is super easy and the on screen menu is easy to navigate. The night vision quality is also excellent. Customer Service is super helpful and their response time is great. Can’t say enough good things about this product and the wonderful service that comes with it.

We love this system! We have a pretty big house and are running 6 cameras. All signals come in crystal clear. I accidentally damaged the device while moving it. I contacted the company to ask where to send it for repair. Neal promptly responded with a simple work around suggestion that had us back up and running in minutes. I shopped around a long time before choosing this system, and I’m glad I did.

I am very pleased with my purchase! The kit came within days and easily went from box to setup. The only thing I had trouble with is that the instructions say to right click to get to the menu but it only works if I spin the given mouse wheel. The picture is great if a little choppy at times but for the price it’s wonderful.

Hardware is ok. Software renders the entire system unusable. OS completely unstable.Password protection on admin settings can be bypassed with mouse wheel scroll.Cloud services don't work.System with all cameras running uses up all the internet bandwidth.Save yourself the headache. Get something else.
