I purchased these two spindles to replace on my 2013 Cub Cadet LTX 1046, they are very well made and machined. The pulley diameter was about a quarter of an inch less than the ones on it, which I don't know were original or not. The new spindles came with threaded holes, bolts, and fit the deck perfectly, so installation was a breeze. No self-tapping bolts here. The mower runs much smoother, much quieter, and is a real joy to operate now that there is no excess wear in the spindles.

Part works on 46" Troy Built Tractor. Took lest than 20 minutes to install. Great Value!

Bolts up perfect to our 07/08 Troy-Bilt Horse Xp 46" rider. Have read the many reviews, kind of a hit or miss thing. Don't plan on greasing the sealed bearings, and also not beating the dogsnot out of it mowing a 5 acre field...yet... Comes with longer bolts than the last replace spindles 5 years ago, which is comforting. May need loctite on the bolts, but I'll monitor and see! Will update if it doesn't last for a year atleast!

So when you look at reviews you need to consider the facts. This spindle like all spindles comes with pre-lubed rubber sealed bearings. While the notion of sealed for life is not meaning it will last forever adding grease fitting may help. To say it’s junk or a poor design then the oem is also poor since it does not come with the holes tapped nor does it come with bolts. This one has both. If you do not overgrease it an pop out the seal everything will be fine. You don’t need to grease them if you don’t want to and they will probably last as long as oem. You may need to accept the fact that every few years you bite the bullet and replace them or take the time to put new bearings in yours you will be ok. For 1/2 the price of oem’s I’ll use these.

Purchased for Cub Cadet 1046 LTXKW. Perfect fit with all necessary hardware included.When greasing initially, watch the top bearing seal closely when pumping grease. (about 55-60 pumps) You will see it bulging when it's full and you need to stop there, else you will push the seal out. Very happy with the quality of the parts.
