The Vintage Bedford Globe Light Fixture is such a nice looking semi-flush mount light, it's so small and compact. Comes with the bulb in the box, easy to install, gives off a VERY warm (almost golden) light. I bought these to light a very dim 10x14 foot office, and am actually going to install an additional two fixtures for a total of 6 lights in the room because only 4 lights was quite dim. The Edison bulbs are less bright than a standard 60w equivalent LED bulb on full brightness, but they dim well on a dimmer switch. You could always find a different bulb to use with the fixture as well. I really like these!

We have a bar in our basement and we've had high hopes of replacing the lighting in it since we purchased our home. We wanted something simple with an industrial look to it that still provided great lighting for the space. Lastly, we absolutely had to have a 5" diameter ceiling plate because there is a heat vent directly next to the previously installed light fixture. We had searched Home Depot and Lowe's for months with minimal success and finally I stumbled upon this simple yet amazing looking light.This light fixture had EVERYTHING we were looking for and was SO inexpensive compared to anything we could find at any of our local hardware/ home improvement stores. Upon receiving it and first inspection, I could not be more impressed with the quality. Everything is solid metal, beautifully painted to match the industrial theme and no blemishes in sight. As an added bonus it also comes with a free light bulb so you can enjoy your new light with the proper vintage style bulb right away!My husband was able to install this light relatively easily with minimal experience. At first, we were going to use our existing mounting bracket but than realized that it did not allow for the screws to physically screw in (you had to insert the screws and add nuts on the opposite side to hold them in place with the original bracket where as the new one you could physically screw them into the mounting plate). Moral of the story, save yourself the time and hassle and just replace it all! It's easy to unscrew the old mounting bracket and screw in the new one and will save you time and stress so don't try to take shortcuts.My only recommendation when installing the light after you have your mounting bracket installed is to disassemble the wire cage from the top of the light where the wires are. It's only 5 tiny screws and it goes back on effortlessly but allows you to really get your hand and screw driver where it needs to be without having to carefully work around the interior of the light. Wiring was extremely simple: base to base, black to black, white to white, pinch everything off and add your caps and you're done! Make sure to test your light after everything is properly connected (before reattaching the metal cage) and if everything is looking good, safely connected and secure than you are good to screw on the metal cage and enjoy your new light! Lastly, I had read that some people received a yellow ish light but I was very happy to receive a bright white light that blends in beautifully with the rest of my "daylight" LED light bulbs.Pat yourself on the back for a job well done and enjoy your new light!! This is definitely one of my favorite DIY upgrades and purchases on Amazon to date. I am so pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend!

I bought this fixture to replace a "boob" light. It is good quality metal and glass, relatively small and ideal for a low ceiling.

I purchased one of these lights last summer for my bathroom. I absolutely loved it. When I started looking for a small light to go above my kitchen sink I knew I wanted this one 1) because I already had it and knew what it was going to look like, 2) because I knew the size was perfect for where I wanted it, 3) It was on sale for $10 instead of the $22 I paid for the first one, and 4), because it also matched a ceiling fan that I had in the same room. The second light came today ---- but the glass globe was broken which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Amazon is sending a replacement but I hope they package it better before shipping it. The globe isn't very thick and there was nothing between the box the light was packaged in and the amazon packaging .

This is a great little light. Installed easily in minutes in my living room. Dimmable, warm-light LED bulb, mounting bracket, screws and electric cap protectors were included. The seeded glass is a nice touch and makes the fixture look more expensive than it is. I like it so much, I'm buying a second one for my hallway. Would definitely recommend., and Sylvania has a good reputation.

Agree with the reviewer who described this as grossly mislabeled. I needed a small, semi-flush light for a low ceiling, and was ecstatic when the DIAGRAM within the product photos clearly labelled and described the light as being 4.8" height x 4.7" width. So imagine my surprise when I pulled the glass shade out of the box to discover it was easily 75% larger...not to mention that the light is CLEARLY MARKED as being 8" height x 6" width on the box... Now I have to make a trip to return an item I would've never bought had the description been accurate. Huge waste of time, 0 stars if possible.

La lampara me ha gustado mucho. La calidad es muy buena y es muy bonita. Fue muy fácil de instalar y el foco led vintage tiene el brillo suficiente para cubrir mis necesidades. La instalé en el patio trasero y hasta la fecha funciona muy bien. Definitivamente la volvería a comprar.
