Poirot Investigates: A Hercule Poirot Mystery: The Official Authorized Edition

Particularly enjoyable to viewers of Poirot series as origins of many scripts are here. Some story lines are repetitive or similar to other detective tropes.

Good book (short stories), but chapter 10 (The Aventure of the Italian Nobleman) is incomplete. There are pages missing.

Excellent stories, characters that come to life. The well known star of the show who wraps it all up and explains why. All the things you expect from previous ratings.

Hard to read as the 91 pages have extremely small print type size.I have readers at 200 and find it hard to read. Bought 350s in order to read this print size. Definitely not printed as a normal book.

I have been reading Agatha Christie for over 60 years. While the short stories are great, the best books are 3 standouts. Witness for the Prosecution, Murder on the Orient Express and the Murder of Roger Akroyd. Oh, we can't forget And Then There Were None. Try any of these books and you will be hooked.

My favorite story was the one about the tomb of King Men-her-Ra, which was taken from the headlines in newspapers. This collection is a variety crime stories that are solved by Poirot's intellect. I rate this as OC for outdated cultural depictions and ethnic slurs: women, Chinese, Japanese.

I love all of Agatha Chritie's works. A devoted fan of the Hercule Poirot TV episodes, I treated myself to this book just so I could imagine Poirot speaking in the voice of David Suchet :-)

I purchased the Kindle edition and one of the stories is incomplete, “The Kidnapped Prime Minister”.Other than that I’ve enjoyed this purchase.

The font size is a joke. Probably to save 10 pages of paper, the font size is... 6 or 8? Illegible. Don't buy that book.

No wonder why Agatha Christie is considered one of the greatest writers of all time!11 stories, 11 cases, 11 mysteries cleverly written in a way that makes you guess to be surprised and amazed at the end. It’s so impressive how she is able to write stories in a way that keeps you guessing and end up wrong m, no matter how right you think you are.A book very hard to put down once you started.

Ordine puntuale e tutto ok. Il libro è meraviglioso, l'ho preso per leggere in lingua ed aiutarmi a migliorare il mio inglese. Non mi sembra difficilissimo però un B2 credo serva per poterlo apprezzare.
