Bourbon Smoked Pepper

Had a great bourbon flavor! I purchased this for my husband and he loves it!

Consistent - great flavor. I add this salt to so many dishes.

This bourbon-smoked pepper is amazing! Really nice, smoky taste and aroma. The pieces are pretty large, but that just allows more leeway, in my opinion; I use it as is in recipes where I'd use whole or very coarsely cracked black pepper, but it's only takes a few seconds to grind some a little finer with a mortar and pestle or a spice grinder if I need less texture. I liked the packaging (no spillage or breakage) and it arrived promptly.

I must admit, the smell of this blew me away when I first opened the container - and not in a good way, lol. It's very strong and potent (like bourbon). However, cooking with it is a different story. As long as you're light with it, you get a subtle smoked pepper flavor that isn't overpowering and is pleasant tasting. I especially love it on ribs! Since you only need a little per use, this container will last for a while.

I am a fan of all things "smoked". Salt, pepper, cocktails! This pepper is great. It is ground, but it is a big grind. I put it in a thumb press grinder in order to achieve a finer grind of pepper. Very smoky & flavorful.
