#5 Durable Poly Bubble Padded Mailer Envelopes 10.5x16- Moisture Resistant and Self-Sealing 100 count

I have been buying from Value mailer for years, never had this issue. These #5s have perforated edges that are very easy to rip apart. I just noticed it the other day. The envelope I took a pic of was torn apart in the box. I shot a short video of me tearing apart one of the edges along the perforation, unfortunately my computer is not letting my upload it. It was effortless, just concerned that these might rip open during transit. Other envelopes that I have purchased from them didn't have this issue, you had to cut the edges with a scissors if you want to tear the envelope at the edge. The Adhesion has been fine.

Value mailers does an awesome job with these. Save and buy 100 or 200 at a time, to drop the price down to 20 cents or less and you will have envelopes for months or years. My wife uses one, in different sizes almost everyday as an Amazon Pro seller. While it can be crushed, in years of use, no items were ever broken from chimps dropping it while delivering the mail. (There is a rumor they keep an 800 pound gorilla in the back room, to test out all the packages, to see what breaks. Keep this in mind and you will wrap better!) dropping.We love the plastic envelope also because it keeps out most rain and snow. Make sure you go at least 1 size bigger than what you normally mail, as interior dimensions are less than exterior and a thick product like a normal book makes the envelope opening smaller. For delicate items in boxes, we sometimes even use these inside the box, or inside a US Post Office flat rate envelope as extra inside padding. It works really great because of the water protection built in, that post office flat rate priority mailers lack.

The items arrived quickly as usual. The bags are enclosed in a protective plastic bag inside which is good for long term storage in a possible damp location. The product itself sticks to itself inside the bag requiring that you stick your hand into the bag to open it before putting anything in it. The mylar strips that cover the adhesive are hard to grasp and seem to be glued to the bag and hard to remove.

I have used just about all of them and will order again. The mailer is protective and is a good size. I use scotch shipping tape and have never had an issue with labels falling off or tape not sticking. Great value for the price. Adhesive strip could be a little wider but it does stay closed. I always put an extra strip of tape on the seal just to be sure. But no issues so far and no customer complaints about the packaging!

low quality item tears easily. I have bought this mailers more than one time and they have 2 shipments it seems one shipment the envelope is good quality you can tell its a good product but then for some reason they have this other envelope that tear real easily you can definately see the diffrence in quality. i wish this company would be more consistent with their product its definately a hit or miss. i would return this product but i need it for now.... HIT OR MISS

These padded mailers do not provide the rigid protection as the craft paper bubble mailers. These bend easily and offer much less protection. I've kept them, but since I have to either add cardboard or use two of these to protect a book, I will not order them again.

For the price, this product is great. It was a bit more flexible/floppy than I expected, but not so much so that it was a problem. The next time I order, I might go for padded paper again. They seem a bit sturdier. But, overall this product was very good, especially for the price.
