Kattovit Kidney/Renal Drink 12 x 135 ml

My 14 year old moggie has a renal issue and has to have a special (and expensive) diet.We have tried almost everything, but he turns his nose up at what we feed him. Worse he takes a few bites then walks away. We tried all the renal foods we can find, including brands from Europe, its a struggle getting him to eat, so we even started cooking him fresh chicken every day.If you have a cat on a renal diet you'll know the struggle and will battle to keep the moggie eating and keeping on weight. This tin was an instant hit, he loves it and licked the bowl clean. There isn't a lot of chicken in it, so we supplement it with some chicken strips, but it is good to see him eating and not turning his nose up the food.My only gripe is its pretty expensive and the cans are small. As you can see in the image, they are more akin to a can of red bull than a regular soft drink. But I'm happy to spend money on food he will actually eat so not complaining.

Absolutely brilliant product! Highly recommend have bought several packs as I have a cat with severe kidney failure & she loves it quite surprised as she’s a real faddy eater.

Goes down a treat. Good way to administer medicine: squash pill in bowl with back of spoon and mix a teaspoon of Kattovit into it. You might then have to hold it under cats nose, but you will probably find the bowl is licked clean. Same for administering lactulose to a cat with digestive problems: mix one teaspoon of Kattovit for every ml of lactulose, and the bowl will be licked clean.I don't believe it is sold as a medium for medicine though. Its sold as a way of getting liquids info a cat with kidney problems. It does this well. It has been the only thing a very sick cat would touch, and was an aid to recovery, and a means to stimulate appetite. But another reliable aid, and one that seems sure to get greater volumes of liquid down a cat's gullet, is spring water from a can of (sustainably sourced) tuna, diluted and left in the fridge to marinate overnight. Still, Kattovit is essential and, it seems, delicious. The only problem is, its so expensive!

My cat loves this but it hasn't been available since February, really hope it will be available again soon! My cat in renal failure adores this. She needs to drink a lot to stay as healthy as possible for as long as possible. The fact that this has apparently been completely withdrawn from sale in the UK (I'm guessing Brexit-related importation issues since it's made in Germany) could actually, genuinely, shorten my cat's life. What the heck did an extremely elderly little black cat in London ever do to you to deserve this?

Good drink to feed your loved companion during sickness. Recommended!

My renal cat loves this soup and so I give it in small amounts throughout the day. She has to take several medicines every day, so I sprinkle her Vit B12 powder into one lot, her glucosamine liquid dose into another, and her liquid blood pressure medicine into another. They were previously all rejected if mixed in with her food.

Tenemos un gatete de tres años que sufrió un infarto renal, se piensa según pruebas que por intoxicación... El caso es que en la revisión, después de estar unos meses tomando día sí día no una racioncita de esta sopa, han mejora sus niveles renales. Estamos muy contentos con los resultados. (por cierto si os intoxican un gato, hay un tipo de carbono vegetal para remedio provisional de primer orden.) Cuidemos nuestros peludines.

Ottimo il prodotto perché oltre ad essere molto appetibile è molto utile nei periodi di infiammazioni croniche dovute alla stomatite nei gatti.Inoltre facilità l' idratazione ed è ideale da alternare al cibo solido.Ovviamente il gatto se eccede solamente di questo nutrimento rischia diarrea e scarsa alimentazione ma nei periodi critici li salva da digiuni completi siccome è un ottimo nutriente ma comunque pur sempre un pagliativo anche se un ottimo supporto.CRITICA: Delusione sull' aumento del prezzo!!!!!!!!!!!Ho iniziato ad acquistarlo poco tempo fa a € 13,...!!!Meglio ordinarlo su Zooplus... Costa meno!!!!

Ça a sauvé mon chat malade, elle ne rafollé ! Super produit ! Merci ! Le vétérinaire nous a dit qu'elle allé mourir dans les 3 jours) mais grâce à ça j'ai pu lui donner son traitement et la faire durer pendant 1 an et demi de plus ! Elle nous a quitté maintenant mais merci ! On a gagné du temps et ce n'est pas rien pour un chat de presque 20 ans ! Je recommande !

Seguiría comprándolo porque es un buen producto per el precio se ha duplicado antes no llegaba 15 € ahora cuesta más de 30 €.... una pena. No podemos asumir ese gasto los que nos hacemos cargo de nuestros gatos y además alimentamos colonias.
