I bought all the external probes seperately. Its a great piece of kit.

Q: Can i monitor the temperature in my home in France and get alerts on my phone in the UK if temp is too high or low?

Yes. As long as the device connect to the wifi, you can receive the alerts remotely by setting up a rule. You will receive it via the app notifications, email, IFTTT notifications for free. And we also provide payable method, such as voice call and SMS texts.

Q: Can this be be viewed live via a MacBook Pro any time of the day anywhere wireless?

The software package that it comes with is web based and so all data can be viewed on any web enabled device. So you can use a PC, Macbook, tablet or smart phone. The sotfware can send e-mail alerts for any conditions that you may want to set like a low temperature. It also links with Alexa so you can ask Alexa for the temperature for example and it will speak out the temperature. The software stores all the historical data so you can view over the current hour, day week or month.
